Coaching at EDIBC
At the East Dorset Indoor Bowling Club we have several fully qualified Coach Bowls (supported by Bowls England), and EBCS (English Bowls Coaches Society) licensed coaches available to support all ages and abilities from beginners to improvers to experienced players. Training can be offered to groups or individuals, and extended to members and non-members - including non-bowling organisations.
All you need do is ask! Maybe your Workplace or Group would like to come along for a social bowling session with coaches on hand to help out. We can supply the necessary equipment and also arrange refreshments if required.
For non-members
If you are interested in playing bowls, why not book a free taster session with one of the coaches? Just give the Office a ring and they will be able to help. From there you may want to go on further and join one of our beginners’ courses. Download a Beginners Course Application Form here.
Alternatively why not come to one of our
Open Days on Saturday, August 17th or Sunday, August 18th from 10am to 3pm.
Our Coaches will be on hand to guide you through a Taster Session and hopefully you will catch the bowls bug!

If you are already a bowler...
Coaching is an ideal opportunity to increase your skill and awareness levels. We can tailor sessions to meet your needs. If you have a particular problem, a single coaching session may help provide solutions that you have not considered before. Green fees apply for sessions other than free tryouts.
